I am trying to develop a strategy for designing DNN portals on a demo server, and then copying them up to the production server, once the content is set.
For this, I've been using the "Export Template" feature of DNN 3.0.13. However, I am finding that many things are difficult to port. For example, some pages will need an image that links to another page.
If I create this using the "Image" module, then the image gets included in the template, but I can't insert a link.
If I create this using the "Banner" module, I can create a link, but none of my vendors and banners get included in the template.
I can write the html by hand using the "Text/HTML" module. However, when I use the Template to create my production site, all the links and image source will point at the demo site, and I'd need to find and rewrite them.
Is there a recommended way to create links like this, using the core framework? Or do I need to purchase/write my own code for copying sites?

I am having the same issue. After I deployed my site to production all my links to internal pages are broken because they have new tabid.
Is there a method to prevent this?
