Hi, I am wondering if we can capture the MSISDN number of users surfing into our mobile sites using their mobile phones/pdas? We can capture IP address using servervariables. Is there any way of capturing the MSISDN of mobile users? Please enlighten me,
thanks a lot.

All device IP addresses you get are dynamic addresses. So, coming back after disconnecting same user has new IP. So, you cannot detect users by IP. Also, without special contracts you cannot find out user's phone number.
I suggest you to thisnk about logging form. When session starts then user has to login using his/her username and password. this is the easiest way to detect users. On mobile devices usually cookieless sessions are used, so be aware of risks when using cookieless
sessions. A little hint can be found

Thanks for the reply, Qnnn. At the moment, I am writing an mobile web-based application for a local telco. For this application, on my part, I must keep track of the users coming in. Since the IP addresses I've captured are all virtual IPs, I wondered if
the telco themselves can map these virtual IPs back to their own MSIDSN databse for verification of who is using that particular virtual IP at that point of time.
In addition, any other solutions on how to capture the identity of mobile users?
Thanks a lot!

Mobile operator knows MSISDN of connected device. If they provide it then you get it. If they don't then read my previous reply again.
