Do you remember exactly what you changed and from what tab?
The HOST site settings tab does have a HOST URL setting, but it doesn't affect my ability to connect to my site when changed. Maybe you changed the Portal Alias, but we need to know where the change was made to be certain.
Are you running on a localhost or a hosted site? If you are running on a localhost, you can use a db admin program to inspect the db tables for the settings, and change them back to what you had. If I remember, you set your DNN db up with OSQL, so you
may need to get a freebie db manager tool to get around it, or do some OSQL updates.

Ok, for the HOST URL setting, look in the HostSettings table, and the portal alias is in, oddly enough - PortalAlias which is linked to the Portals table entry for the portlID of your portal.
Again, though, don't see how just changing the HOSTURL is causing this issue.
