I am not sure where to turn on this one.
What I need to do: Create a Control that has a Unique Id.
Why: I need to reference the Control Server-side to create a PDF file.
Problem: When creating the PDF the server is placing other users of the application control information into the pdf. So on the client they see the intended output, but when requesting a PDF, the server places whatever is in memory into the file, this happens
about 10% of the time. I am not sure if it has something to do with client/server affinity.
What I have tried:
protected override void OnPreRender(EventArgs e)
FindControl("Panel1").ID += lbl_id.Text;
This does change my Panel id to the appropriate name (on client render), but I cannot reference it after postback, it is named the original name, or Id. (Panel1).
Does anyone have any code for uniquely naming controls and referencing them?
