Am I missing something, or is there not an overload or some other way to manually pass in a connection string or connection object? That is, is there a way to use the Data Access Block without relying on a App.config/Web.config and dataConfiguration.config?

It seems to me that there is no public available method to pass in the ConnectString from the client rather than retrieving it from the config file. In analyzing the source code, my understanding tells me that these folks design this block closely tied to
the configuration file. There is a public method GetConnection() declared inside the public class SqlDatabase, and unfortunately again, it doesn't take a ConnectString parameter. What you can do is create your own class inherited from Database and introduce
custom behavior which requires a deep understanding of the details how the library works. I might try at a later time when the need arises.
I sometimes ask myself like many users in this forum, is the DAAB ready for Enterprise development?
