Ok, this is annoying, I have made numerous changes to certain modules and then gone back to the tabs to view them and have confirmed the wording and spacing and sat back and smiled and said, “life is good”. Then when I revisit the tab
15minutes (this is how long I waited, I wouldn’t say there’s anything magical about 15min) later, stuff is back to what it was originally. This raises a few questions in my mind (how did the data get rendered to the page even once if it wasn't saved?, if
the data was saved how did it revert back to previous values?). I’ve seen a lot of posts concerning the tab order not saving but haven’t read anything about actual data being lost. I’m confident that it’s only the module titles that are affected which points
to the portalcfg.xml file as the culprit. Has anyone else seen this? Is this the reason there are so many posts concerning migrating the portalcfg.xml data into the DBMS?

Apply the "move tab" fix, and then try it again
Look for "move tab" in the forum, and use one of the solutions posted. Once applied, your changes should start to take effect.
