I am developing a Web Control Class Library, and I want propertiesof the each control to be able to be configured via the Properties window within the Visual Studio IDE.
I have used the basic attributes: [Bindable(false), Category("Appearance"), DefaultValue("Abbreviation"), Browsable(true)], which allows the user to specify properties
in free-text. However, I would like to know how to make a dropdown list with predefined values be selectable from the Properties window. Does anyone know how to do this or know where I can find a good reference?

you could do that by having a enum as the property type (you'd have the list automatically) or the other way being writing a custom type converter for the property .
Here is about the type converter (see: Type Converters That Provide a List of Standard Values to a Property Grid).
