Ok here goes.
I have a certain number of portals to be ran. Each I guess has its own id.I have a portal for each company which intern has its own unique ID.
Lets say portal 1 belongs to company 15.If company 15 has 5tabs(pages)on three of the tabs I use a modifyed version of the text/html module.Does each have its own module id?If so how do I get each to show different content from the database on each tab?
Next Question:Is there no way to remove unwanted modules from the page without deleteing them?Does this delete actuallty delete them from you ever accessing it again?
When I create a role is there a way of having the module list just show only certain modules?

1) Each portal has an ID
2) Every page has a TabID and each module has an ID so each module saves/gets info from the DBusing a relationship between moduleId and TabID.
3) To remove a module from a page without deleting it move it to another page. For example create a page called Archive and then move the modules you want to remove using Module Settings for each one. When you delete a module it goes first to the recycle
bin. From there it can be permanently deleted or moved to any tab, including the original one.
4) No, you cannot filter modules out in the module list based on roles.
