I downloaded and tried to install DNN 3.0.13. I followed all the instructions including all the instructions (GREAT tut) at
I have DNN 3.0.12 running on a different machine and it works well.
However on 3.0.13 on a different machine i keep getting "The stored procedure 'dbo.GetTabByName' doesn't exist" even though all the other SP's and tables are created.
I have set all the relevant permissions on both the DotNetNuke folder and database and both the database and folder are named as recomended in the help files i.e. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke and DotNetNuke as the DB with the connection
string using SA user and password to connect.
I do not know what else to try and it's very fustrating i would appreciate the help.
There is NO dnn.Config in the install directory and i did do my home work as to try figure out how to fix this but every time i try any advice i get the same error, i must have recreated the database and files at least 15 times.[:(]

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. I hade the same issue with 3.0.12 and I made sure that in this instance it was not the same. I made sure that MACHINENAME\ASPNET account have full permissions on my DotNetNuke folder
and that the folders within inherited this.
If you have any more advice it would be great to hear it and thank you once again!

Yes good idea,
I tried that, then it uses the portal infromation (logical) of the imported portal. Is there no other way to fix this?

You know what the funny part is, I have done that 15 times, recreated databases with different names (of course mending the web.config to reflect that) and even recreating different Virtual Directories with new files from the ZIP.
SAME ERROR all the time. Thats the wierd part.
I tripple checked the Security for ASPNET account i am sure its there.

Create a new blank DNN install on another machine and then transfeer everything to your machine.
If it works it works.
