I'm building a master/detail module , and I need a bit of help. I basically have a control with a datagrid that is
showing the master list. I want to show the detail view in another control when the user clicks on the ID column of the
datagrid. What makes things more complex is that i also want the page only refresh the detail view part, not the whole
page! Because my page consists of many other controls, refreshing the whole page will cost time and make eyes
uncomfortable. I know a way to do this with regular ASP.NET. I would normally just use frames and an asp:HyperLinkColumn and set it to load the detail page. but I'm completely stumped trying to do it DNN's way.How do I load the detail control by clicking on
Any advice would be apperaciated!
Thanks in advance!

I'd use the intermodule communication method to do this. On the master record click, send a message using IMC that the detail module could pick up and load the appropriate record.
There is an example here

Hope this help [:D]
