I have installed and love the FAQ module kindly provided by dnnexperts. However, I have a small problem...
error: 'dnn' is undefined
when i choose debug, i can see that it is erroring on this line... dnn is not recognised for some reason?
the funny thing is that the module works fine when it is first implemented on a page, but from some reason the errors start - i don't know what has changed to cause it. the same module is working fine on other portals on the same install. i'm confused -
anyone got any idea whats going on?

I have experienced this same exact problem and as of yet have not found a solutions to the issue. I went to Jay's site (DnnExperts) and the sample on his site is working properly. I was hoping it was a known bug and he had fixed it and had a new version
On my site the items under the catgeory expand and contract on the individual FAQ's but shows an error occured. I just get an error when I try to use the Category to Expand/Contract all.

Same here. I posted it as a FAQ on the site but it has not been updated yet.

I suspect it might have something to do with my DNN installation's object qualifier... which I have set to 'DNN' hence the error
error: 'dnn' is undefined
When you guys get the error, do you have your object qualifier in the error, or is it still DNN?... i.e. do you get error:
'[object qualifier]' is undefined.

Has anyone found a solution for this?

I was just made aware of this thread.
Someone sent me a note saying they were getting this error, but as was noted above, it works fine on my site. I can't reproduce it so I am having trouble debugging it.
I think the "dnn" is a reference to the ClientAPI because I register some variables from the server side to keep track of each item's expand/collapse state.
I also noted that the issue seems to go away when the list grows/expand. Almost as if the number of FAQs somehow affects it.
I will continue to investigate, but if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I'm stumped ATM.

Here is a link to my site
http://www.locosolutions.com/Default.aspx?tabid=141 where you can actually see the problem although it wont be easy to debug there. Something I just noticed is that my "+" and "-" icons never change although the individual items expand and contract. Also
just in case it might be related I am using Snapsis CSS Skins. I will see if I can get a chance to change the skin a bit latter to see if that is the issue.

I was able to test it without the Snapsis CSS skin and got the same behavior but I did discover that it did work as expected when I was
logged into the site as an admin. Not sure that is something than can help or just make it worse.
Can anyone else experiencing this problem verify that they get the correct behavior when logged in as an admin?

Then this must also have something to do with the container.
I have removed the visibility selection from my containers and have the problem regardless of settings. Place the module in a default container and everything works like a champ.
Hope that helps.
