I have an aging 1.0 DNN portal here at work and I just completed a class registration module for it (quite the task really) I am going to port it over to 3.0xx for my building of our new portal - Would anybody be interested in it for thier portal (i imagine
3- 4 weeks before its done for 3.0)

Dylan, I am interested. But what exactly does your module do? And when you say a 'Class Registration' module, are you refering to a class with students in a school ?
FYI, I volunteered to build a DNN portal for a local school (what can I say, my kids go there..) and any school-related module would help a lot.
If by 'Class Registration' you are referring to COM / assemblies / and the like, please disregard this post. [:S]

Sorry for not being clear
Basically this allows you to set up a location (say room 230) and a topic (Access 2005) then set a date and create a class out of those two other bits of info (and number of students etc) then you can allow kids to register for classes untill its full then
it will put them in a waiting list.
Its a kind of cool module and I dont think it would take a ton to move it to dnn3 but to localize it would take some time

If you already have a module like that, would you be interested in sharing the code and maybe all of us can pitch in (as open source) and create a DNN3 module? I'll do whatever it takes to get this thing going.

okay I had to put this off for awhile to finish up some other things but over this long weekend I think I can finish this up in dnn 3
Question for everybody interested in it - if you create an instance of this in your portal do you need to have more than one - would you want to have classes and such divided up by the module if or for the whole portal (portal id)? Both ways have good arguments
so I am not sure what might work best - maybe a flag to allow either?
