I am using visual studio .net 2003 and I am trying to debug the application, it does not seem that it hits the break point. I added a simple button and a on click procedure but break point does not stop, any idea
what might be the problem? Is there a group for visual studio?

1) Set break point on valid statements
2) ASPNET and the windows login you are using are part of Debugger Users, VS Developers
3) You are using "Run" command i.e. F5 and not Using "ctrl + F5"
4) You have put some code in the Click method
hope this helps

Thanks for the reply.
Break point in page_load works fine, and I see at the top I am in Debug mode.
I added a button to my application and double click on it and created this function.
Now I am putting break point at a=a+1 and clicking button1, it does not stop there.
private void Button1_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
What else should I check?

It des not seem that it is a debug issue, my click event is not working because the following does not print.
Response.Write( "Button1_Click" );
I created this event by double clicking on button1, what is wrong?
