I have inherited an asp app running on an intranet. The application is currently running on a Windows Server 2003 Web Edition server.
One of the asp pages generates an HTML page that is currently over 5.25Mb. The report displays correctly on my local development PC but when placed on the server I get a "Page Cannot be displayed" error.
Is there a setting on the server that I can change to resolve this problem?

I'm guess your app is timing out. Try increasing the application timeout in your global.asax and see where you get to after that.

I am having a similar problem:
Where do I change the timeout setting in the global.asax file?

To change the Server.ScriptTimeout for an entire application:
1. In IIS Manager, double-click the local computer, right-click the starting-point directory of the application you want to configure, and then click Properties.
2. Click the Directory tab, and then click Configuration.
3. Click the Options tab.
4. In the Application configuration section, in the ASP script timeout box, click the up or down arrow to set the number of seconds before an error message is returned.
5. Click OK.
To change this value in an individual ASP page, you can add this code:
Server.ScriptTimeout = 360
This value indicates how long, in seconds, the server will let an ASP script run until it is stopped by the server. The default value is 90 seconds.
