I keep getting an object reference not found on this. Anyone have ideas?
- - SQLDataProvider.vb - -
- - PartyPlannerController.vb - -
- - DataProvider.vb - -
- - And my sp - -
SELECT Portal.dbo.Users.FirstName+ ' '+ Portal.dbo.Users.LastName as FullName, Portal.dbo.UserRoles.RoleID, Portal.dbo.Users.UserID
FROM Portal.dbo.Users INNER JOIN
Portal.dbo.UserRoles ON Portal.dbo.Users.UserID = Portal.dbo.UserRoles.UserID
WHERE (Portal.dbo.UserRoles.RoleID = 3) AND (NOT (Portal.dbo.Users.UserID = 1))
I run the query in Query Analyzer and it returns the correct results.
I've been working on this WAY too long. Man, the transition was DNN has been tough!

Well . . . that did eliminate my object reference not set error . . . but no data is bound. Empty ddl. Soooooo close.
I do have entries in the PartyPlannerinfo.vb. Here they are:
Thanks for the help guys. Any other suggestions?

Put a break point here:
Me.ddlRep.DataSource = objPPs.Get_Reps()
If you never get there, check your page load logic.
If you do get there, find out what objPPs.Get_Reps().count is.

Well, I did that. Thanks for the suggestion. I do get there and I get a count of 3 which is correct. Hmmm . . . I can't believe the amount of code it takes for a ddl. Please tell me others have been successful here. Anyone???
Works for me...
If you test the ddl right after the bind instruction, ddl.items.count should = 3. Is that the case?

It is inside a panel control along with 10 other textboxes. The textboxes all retrieve data like they are suppose to.
Thanks for you efforts in this . . . . It is so frustrating.
