if you have had to pay for sql server to move up to DNN3.....how did you move from MS Access to SQL Server? I've taken a look at doing that but didn't find any good way to do it....the databases are actually a little different....
Thanks in advance

I ended up just starting again with DNN3 since my site did not have too much information. However, if you can't start again, I suggest the following method
First move to DNN2 with SQL Server
Then upgrade to DNN3

that's the problem...even moving from access to sql server on DNN2 is not supported........the SQL server version uses things like GUIDs and sequence numbers for keys and the models are slightly different......some people have used the 'upsize tool' to take
the access database and just put that on sql server but that's not the same database it seems......I've been hoping that someone would write a utility to do the move from access to sql server...and was hoping you might have heard of such...oh well...the other reason
for thinking of this is tha I read there may not be an access data provider in DNN 3 any more.....I was just planning to wait until it came out and move to 3 on access.....
Thanks for you feedback anyway....I hope I don't have to re-create my site....
