You cannot convert or open the existing FrontPage/interdev 6.0 project. You must create a new project in VS.NET. If you are using FrontPage i assume you are working with a web-server with frontpage extensions.
To work with this server in VS.NET you must add create a new solution and create a new project on the web-server. After creating the solution, right click the solution and choose 'Add -> New Project'. Use the template 'Empty web project' and enter the url
to your server (without the final / - use http://www.myserver.com for root and http://www.myserver.com/NewProject for a new or existing project). Other developers in your team can now add this project using 'existing project from web' instead of 'new project'
when adding a project to a solution. You can also add a database project to work with the SQL server. In the same solution use add 'new project' and select project type 'database projects' under 'other projects'. We are using VS.NET 2002 in the same environment
as you (ASP3.0/SQL Server). We have noticed some problems with the project. We are not suing Visual SourceSafe so sometimes files are overwritten - the server does not return the newest file and there are some problems with opening the project file from the
web server resulting in the project is not refreshed with all files on the web server.
