We have had this issue with the sample in the “Windows-based Hosting 3.0”, the “Hosted Messaging and Collaboration 3.0” and now the “Windows-based Hosting 3.5”.
We have done a search of the folder to see if we could find anything on the Sam Account, there is about 3 VB pages that have a reference to it. But this does not resolve the problem.
Could someone on this team elaborate on what the “Sam Account” is and how it relates to the MPSSampleWebsite?
We have also started a support incident on this, but it also seems to be getting pushed to the back burner.

No, we still have not got this resolved. I had talked to Microsoft back in October to start another support incident in which we were asked if we would spend $50,000 for this incident which we decided that this would increase our hosting services cost above
what would be competitive. We then took a wait and see kind-of-attitude to see which way this solution was doing. During that time we have heard from others and through the blogsphere in which some say that this will work on ASP.NET 2.0 and some say that it
will not. My first question is this: how are you wanting to deploy this solution, for example if you deploy this by the deployment guide you will have to have x amount of servers- which can be a costly solution if you are a small hosting company. One solution
that is cost efective is to create the servers on one server using Microsoft Virtual Server R2 ,which I had a conservation with Microsoft about. Microsoft said that they don't support this but there was Microsoft Techs that had set this up for customers (
I could not get any contacts that have actually done this). My suggestion to eliminate any point of failure is to set up two servers with the HMC 3.5 solution.
