  how can i detect installed browser components i want dedect compenent ID using asp .net for example i want dedect media player or other browser componenets but how?

  Not sure about detecting Media Player, but you can find out quite a lot through the HttpBrowserCapabilities class. You can write a downloadable ActiveX control but who trusts them these days? ^o
