That isn't the normal behavior, but the multi-level is security sensitive. Perhaps the sub sections aren't showing in the menus because they aren't visible to anonymous users?
Thanks for the tip. I checked but there arent any restrictions there. Still all my domains on the GCN doesn't have section any menu sub levels. But it lists the sub sections. Any more ideas are welcome...
Are you using the Arc theme? This is the only standard theme that was modified to use the MultiLevelSectionMenu component (see the documentation at /Documentation/WhatsNew.htm#mlsm).
Thanks. I know. And I have checked out elements on the Arc theme. But what is there to do lse than replace the control: SectionMenu with MultiLevelSectionMenu ? this is what I have now:
Has anyone found a solution yet? I made a theme based on the arc theme, and first it only worked when the user was logged on. Now even that's not working. Switching back to the arc theme and it works again. So it should not be a security issue, since security
settings are unchanged between theme changes. Perhaps an IE cache issue, will try it out. //Loftux
I wonder if this has something to do with the way the theme is set up...I have a custom theme on http://www.torontoug.net and it seems to work fine regardless of whether you are logged in or not. Just wildly speculating, but you both mentioned something about
the Arc theme which is why I am mentioning this.
The only problem with fiction is that it has to make sense...that is what makes reality so wonderful, it has no such constraint!
To have the multilevel control in the theme like discussed earlier here, should be all. I just tried to rename a style, but it had no influence. I tried also something similar to Loftux: I created a test theme folder with the same skin file, but with a section
menu control with no multi level. I tried switching to that and back, but that did no trick either. BTW nice quote. I may have to translate it to danish, hope it's ok. Annonymous?
Thanks for sharing the quote. Just a note: I have all branches exanded when logged in. And it doesn't matter who is logged in. (Of cause still no multilevel when logged out.)
