Can I establish a client/server connection that sends me data in real-time? Concretely, this is my goal here:
A real-time communication between remote desktop client (ERP application: Sage) and the workstation (CRM application: Web/Intrexx). The remote desktop client is to be equipped with a server application that passes commands from the ERP application to the workstation
(client). In essence, the ERP user should be able to directly use information from the work context to continue working on the workstation. This makes work easier for the user, provides a higher usability for the user because he does not have to search the
address again. Consequently, the workload is reduced.

signal/r implements peer to peer messages via a signal/r host. clients connect to the host (hub) via websockets (if not supported the library falls back http request long pulls). broadcast messages are also supported.
so the main requirement is the ability to modify your applications, and that they are written a language that support the sdk.
