In Visual Studio Code for Mac v1.48, working thru the Razor Pages tutorial at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/tutorials/razor-pages ...
there are 'Visual Studio For Mac'-specific instructions that I cannot replicate: in the File Explorer, right-clicking folder I do not see, 'Add >', nor any Razor Pages scaffolding-related items (e.g., 'New File ... 'with options for 'General', 'Empty Class',
Can someone please tell me which specific extensions I might be missing that would account for this, or what I might have misconfigured in my existing setup (mostly defaults, with C# of course, also ASP.NET Core
Snippets, ASP.NET Helpers, etc. installed)

with visual studio code (windows or mac), you use the cli to scaffold.
someone might do an extension for razor pages, but its likely to be a F1 command rather than a menu.
if you want a full IDE, then use visual studio for mac. with the current version you can right click and scaffold, just vs 2019.

stupidly I didn't realize there's both 'Visual Studio Code' & 'Visual Studio'. That sure explains plenty! ;)
