I nearly completed an ASP.NET MVC project and want to design the authentication, authorization component. I took a look at the module shipped with Visual studio but it looks a little cumbersome ( I'm a beginner). I found a lot of videos and tutorials but
I don't know which one to choose. I use heavily Jquery and its controls so I want to get a tutorial with the same approach.
Can somebody please send me a couple of links with some tutorials?
Thanks in advance.

The Identity API works well, is simple to use, works with the MVC's [Authorize] attribute, and has everything needed to manage accounts. If Identity does not fit your needs can you explain what meets your needs?
The ASP.NET Authentication cookie also works with the [Authorize] attribute. Although, it is up to you to write the code to manage user accounts.

Thanks for your advice. Actually I don't need a particular requirements ...maybe I was discouraged by realizing I have to code ............or rather copy and paste the authentication/ authorization module because when I created my project I didn't select
the authentication option.....I don't think is a better option.
I will create a new project with the authentication option and will install the Identity API in my existing project by copying and paste the module.
Thanks for your feedback.
