Hello, novice to c#, asp, etc. To make story short, taking over an old code, I have no experience in...
Each GridView has 3 separate datasources.
My question is how do I configure this so when you click on 'Submit', result is populated automatically to GridView1, GridView2 and GridView3 instead of clicking on 'Select'

You are asking us to assume what your code is, and why there are select buttons in the GridViews to populate the next GridViews. For example, I could guess that the select meant that something was, well, selected by the user that indicated something about
what data should be in the next GridView, in which case the buttons are necessary. But that's just a guess. You need to show us what those Select buttons actually do.
Post the .aspx page code and its code-behind page.

The last two gridviews are filled by selection, which may include data filtering operations. This may conflict with what you expect.
If I misunderstood, you could try like this:
But if this is not the effect you expect, please provide sample code for us to reproduce your problem if possible.
Hope this can help you.

The code you posted doesn't show how the GridViews are loaded. You show datasources and parameters, but no select statements, which I assume are somewhere in the code behind. What triggers them to be loaded?

Figured it out. Each gridview is controlled by
<asp:SessionParameter DefaultValue="" Name="Start" SessionField="Start2" ConvertEmptyStringToNull="true" />
<asp:SessionParameter DefaultValue="" Name="End" SessionField="End2" ConvertEmptyStringToNull="true" />
<asp:SessionParameter DefaultValue="" Name="Search" SessionField="Search2" ConvertEmptyStringToNull="true" />
