Im new to microservices and Ive been given a microservice written in .net core 3.1.

That part i can get , but as this service is loaded in Visual Studio .. can i host it on my local machine and try to call endpoints via postman ?
Im trying to work out how where can i host it to give it a smoke test and then write test via the url above ?

it depends what you mean by test, you can debug with multiple starter projects
which will allow you to run it locally, and easily
build progam testing
