I am using the MDS version 188.8.131.52. The SQL server version is 13.0.4604.0 (SP-1).
Deployment package is taken from the MDS UI and also from the Command prompt. When deploying existing attributes / entities, I am getting error as - The model
cannot be updated. 110003: The name already exists. Type a different name.
Deployment scenarios that work as usual :
Issues found so far:
None of the above scenarios have worked.
Do we have to follow any other methods to deploy the changes made? Is there any updates missing from the above MDS version? Any workaround to resolve the same?

I just performed some tests with MDS 2019.
I encountered the same issues with the MUID.
I installed the latest CU before.
This is a show-stopper for using MDSModelDeploy, as I have all sorts of changes to do and some will change the MUID, this stopping the ability to deploy updates.
I found a Discussion on MSDN from 2017 which describes this issue (https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/72915671-6050-43fb-a559-76f1d7e90655/mdsmodeldeploy-quotthe-name-already-existsquot-error-mds-2016?forum=sqlmds).
I hope that Microsoft will deploy a fix to this soon.
