Now I need to use Redis while the server system is windows server 2012R which does not support Docker Desktop.
What's more, there are so many strange problems with Docker Toolbox that many guys suggest me do not use it.
It seems the last choice is to use it by a virtual machine.
I installed an Oracle Virtual Box on the computer with a CentOS 8. And also, I installed a Docker&Redis with the tutorial(https://markheath.net/post/exploring-redis-with-docker).
The Redis in Docker now runs well.
The next step is to connect the Redis in docker to my .net core project in IIS. However, I don't know how to do it. It seems there is no tutorial about this.
Would you please help me? Thank you.

you need to pick a redis client.
then follow the documentation for that client.
