How do i change the session time out for SQL Server so that a Web App user doesn't have to keep logging if not using it for a period of time. I have already set the "remote query time out" in SQL Server to 2,147,483,647, which my understanding is
the max. But it does nothing.

Can you explain how your application works? The connection string defines the login and there is no need to login to SQL. Are you using a SQL server to store Session and using Session to store user login?

If it's a C# Application means, then you can increase the session time in your .config file.
