I am migrating my old ASMX application to ASPNET Core REST API.
In my old application i am using third party control for which i have configured wellknown object on web.config.
i have given sample code below.
<wellknown mode="SingleCall" type="ThirdpartyAssembly.TestClass, ThirdpartyAssembly" objectUri="TestClass.rem" />
<channel ref="http" />
How do i convert above code to make it work in new ASPNET Core api.
I am using .Net Framework 4.6.1 and added Nuget package on AspNetCore 2.2.

.net core dropped support for remoting. You will need a replacement for the remoting object.

For routing i have used ASPNET Core template for making REST api, but i am still using host as .Net Framework 4.6.1.
After debugging what i understand is request is somewhere missing in routing.
Anyone came across similar issue?

core 2.2 does not support 4.6.1. if you are using 4.6.1 then its not an asp.net core 2.2 project. asp.net core 2.0+ dropped support of running on the .net 4.* framework.
core 2.2 does support .netstandard libraries, but they do not support remoting either.
note: the .net core vm does not support app domains, which are required for remoting.
