I installed all the standard packages for 2019, and included:
But... when I attempt to create a new project as "SQL Server Reporting Services" there is no possible way to do it.
I can do it just fine in VS 2017, but not 2019. And despite what the MS technical docs have to say about SSDT being
included in 2019, I don't believe it.
Does anyone know how to address this?

According to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssdt/download-sql-server-data-tools-ssdt?view=sql-server-2017 the built in SSDT feature is
for "database projects" (as for VS 2017) and the other stuff is now delivered as VS extensions (unlike VS 2017).
For example you have now https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ProBITools.MicrosoftReportProjectsforVisualStudio

I figured it out finally.
You can't type in the search box "SQL Server Reporting Services". You have to type "report".
