I have an Android app connected to firestore and an asp.net app connected to the same firestore repo, for adminstrative tasks, using the Google.Cloud.Firestore library.
Getting back a QuerySnapshot I can loop it and construct a datatable column by column, row by row, but I was wondering if there was a faster way to do this (tried qsnapshot.Cast<DataTable> but it didn't work).
Anyone here done this before?

Not me but try the documentation at https://developers.google.com/api-client-library/dotnet/apis/firestore/v1 if not done already. I doubt it would retrieve directly
a DataTable (and you don't want to create a List<T> instead ?)
If you need further help a specialized forum for this product could be better.
Edit: according to https://firebase.google.com/docs/firestore/quickstart (you can select C# to see a relevant sample) you can easily expose each object as a dictionary of name, value properties.
Not sure which other methods you have...
