currently MS has no SSRS UI solution for asp.net core (the MVC 5 solution will not work). You can call the SSRS webapi and build your own SSRS UI, or use a 3rd party library to do this:

Hi ohoud ,
AFAIK , we could not use SSRS report with ASP.NET core 2 web application directly. Current workaround is the AlanJuden's suggestion, you could refer to this blog for detail.
And you also could refer to Reporting Services Web Services with .NET CORE 2 for details.
Or , you could post your feedback at https://feedback.azure.com/forums/908035-sql-server.
Best Regards ,
