I created a new MVC 5 Web API 4.7.2 .net Framework project and selected individual user accounts authentication. I then proceeded to updated all the nuget packages. Afterwards, I built the project and solution and ran it.
The web application looks very different from previous mvc projects I have created. It features bootstrap 4 and in addition, the typical black navigation header with the Register and Login was missing. After closing the project I tried to find scaffold view
folder with account and registration view pages but I couldn't find them. I also noticed that two new folders which I don't recall in previous Web API projects were added, Results and Provider.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am hoping to get advise on these two new folders and also how to create the Account scaffold view pages.
I unfortunately can't switch to .core because there are slew issues with the software which prevents me from using it.
Thanks in advance.
Here is some information about the VS software I am using.
Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2017
Microsoft .NET Framework

Web API does not have a UI. If you want a UI then select an MVC project and include Web API.
