I need to go to the net work folder (Ex: \\files\POLICIES\CURRENT_DATE) from the FOLDER hyperlink field. FOLDER is column in a database table. I have following code, but when I click on folder it doesn't do anything. Your assistance is highly appreciated.
<asp:gridview ID="grv" runat="server" AutoGenerateColumns="False">
<asp:BoundField DataField="ORG_NAME" HeaderText="Organization Name" />
<asp:HyperLinkField DataNavigateUrlFields="FOLDER" DataTextField="FOLDER" HeaderText="Folder" />

As far as I'm concerned, it is related to a security issue.

It seems impossible that you open a hyperlink which is localed in file manager from browser directly.
If you want to do something with the content of file from the folder, I suggest that you could try another way like uploading files.
