The enterprise got Azure AD connected to On-premise AD (through AD Connect i assume).
So it's a .NET Core 2.1 Web App deployed to an App Service hosted on Azure.
We want this web application to function as an intranet application, demanding authentication and authorization.
It must be secure - and the application must know which user is signed, by its user domain name.
What we've tried so far:
.AddAzureAD(options => Configuration.Bind("AzureAd", options));
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Do you use Password Hash Sync when config SSO in Azure AD Connect , if yes , you could use Azure AD Group Claims feature :
If no(for example , use ADFS) ,please explain more about your scenario .
