I have a series of pages, and an error page setup.
Whenever an error occurs on any of the pages, the errorpage is called automatically by the framework and sends me an email stating that an error occurred on a particular page (that i capture using the session object to store what page was currently open).
The thing is that i'd like to send the error detail in the email, but i'm not sure how to capture it on the error page. Is it automatically stored on an object and available to get on the error page?

I generally use a try cache catch and and log errors in a database. From there it's simply passing the ID. Plus you can query exceptions.
If you are redirecting to another URL and the error page sends the email, use ASP state management to pass the error and error details to the error page.
If these are unhanded errors then see the following reference docs.
