I would like to use classes from a dll file. I first copy the file into a subfolder in my solution, so that it is also in SourceControl. Then I added a reference. Dependencies -> Add Reference and then selected the dll in my directory.
I could use the classes normally in source code. But when I start the site, I get the following error message: InvalidOperationException: Cannot find compilation library location for package. I delete the bin folder. the dll file is there after restart.
Where is my error?

Hi , UrielMhezzek
But when I start the site, I get the following error message: InvalidOperationException: Cannot find compilation library location for package.
Are you using a ASP.NET Core 2.0.x SDK ? Or Do you have a dependency or inderect denpency to Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyModel of version 2.0.2 or
According to an issue on GitHub , there's a bug in Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyModel
v2.0.2 and below . The problem should be fixed if you update the package reference to 2.0.3 above .
