VS allows to deploy an initial db as part of the publication process if supported by your hosting service (it's not Azure only and could be used as well by other hosting companies):
The first step would be likely to check the kb or forum for your hosting service to see what they make available.

No the database have to be attached separately.

"attached", you mean like when using sp_attach_db ?This is dictated by the hosting service? Don't they provide a clear view or what you should do or maybe could you point us to some of their documentation to see if it could be some kind of misunderstanding.
It's hard to help without knowing which deployment approach is required by the service you are trying to use (for example you could also use SSMS but once again it depends what this service allows)
Which db hosting service are you using?

It seems you could use :
https://www.smarterasp.net/support/kb/a270/how-can-i-restore-convert-my-sql-express-to-mssql-2012-database.aspx (you have 2 different
They seems to also have a control panel that could make that easier :
Or it seems you have direct access to the db so you could use SSMS (here the source is Azure but it could be another one as well) :
believe this one would allow to "downgrade" a db for example ie going from a later to an earlier SQL Server version which is not possible with a backup or mdf file)
Edit: and it seems they support as well the use of web deploy (once enabled from the control panel) :

Web deployment task failed. ( Could not connect to the remote computer ("pmalathip-001-site1.atempurl.com"). Make sure that the remote computer name is correct and that you are able to connect to that computer. -deploymeny error under smarterasp.net hosting.
I am able to publish the same to a folder on my machine. Can i get the procedure to upload the same .net core app to smarterasp.net.

And it was enabled first with the control panel? The support forum for this hosting company could be better (will be easier to get some help from someone actually using the service).
Usually you can download the publish profile from the service rather than to manually create it.

Have you contact your hosting provider? It seems that you use incorrect details. The followings are the guidelines to publish your project properly to our server
