I am developing windows application. backend i'm using microsoft access.
test1.mdb file has set to password protected (Ex : password : pass007).
when end user select test1.mdb from my ASP.NET windows application, then the system should ask password to process further action.
if he enter the password (password : pass007) then only system do further action.
how to do this..?

This password is supposed to make harder to open the file if it is stolen. I'm not sure you should ask the user to enter this password (and all users would have to enter the same password which is weird). Usually you have a login system so that each user
has his own account (and password) and this particular password could be used behind the scene as an additonal protection end users won't have to care about.
If you really want to ask a password it would be just an input field (and with 600+ posts I guess you are more than familiar with that). If you need further help please be more explicit about your issue.

Hi Gani 7787,
I am agree with the suggestion given by other community member regarding the user need to have their own accounts and they need not to enter this Access database password to connect with the database.
If then also you want to do it then you can ask the password from user and pass it in the connection string to make a connection with database.
Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\mydb.mdb;User Id=admin;Password=password;
Handle the error if password is incorrect.
I can see that you are developing a Windows Application with Access Database.
