Can someone help guide me in the right direction i have brand new installation of v.s. 2017 with core installed on my 64bit lenovo system. The new installation and trying to run a asp.net core with angular project. I have downloaded all requirements for
this solution because i am working from project tutorial! After many times uninstalling reinstalling many packages and references for the project the same problem persists. Error is as is below and swamps solution with about 34 of these same errors. Can anyone
explain to shed light on hole in program somewhere. Thanks, Markus33

Could you share us .net core version and VS 2017 specific version?
Based on this error message, it seems you create a project under .netcoreapp1.1. I would suggest you create project with netcoreapp2.0.
In addition, could you share us the tutorial link?

Could you share us your project, or could you share us the detail steps to create your project?
While creating project, did you select .NET Core -> Asp.Net Core 2.0 -> Angular Template?

Edward, I did not create project i downloaded from GitHub. So how is it possible that i can choose the Angular template from this point on? Building Single Page Applications using ASP.Net Core By Chander Dhall Markus33

If you run the project directly after downloading it from Github, will you receive any error?
What is the version for .NET Core SDK you installed?
I suggest you check the TargetFramework in this projectname.csproj.
