Here's my scenario.
i have a partner site, where we create a cookie "media.type" with domain name ".broadcast.com". There is a button which redirects to a different site whose url is "dev.account.broadcast.com" and the same cookie is used here. I am able to read this cookie but
not able to expiry it.
I tried the below options, but didnt work
Could anyone please help me on this issue.

Hi venky_ferrari ,
How about try to create a new cookie, with the same name, same top domain, and set the expiration and added it to the response(Haven't test it) :
if (Request.Cookies["cookie"] != null)
HttpCookie myCookie = new HttpCookie("cookie");
myCookie.Expires = DateTime.Now.AddDays(-1d);
myCookie.Domain = "domain.com";

Is dev.account.broadcast.com a sub domain of broadcast.com ? Set Domain property to main domain(broadcast.com) and check whether above codes work .
