I have added a folder inside the .net core 2.0 Project and added classes inside it.I am getting error while referring class's name space in my controller class which is inside same project.i am using visual studio code .

if you add a folder named as Utilite , then you can refer " Using Utilite ". So you can refer class in the Utilite folder. Check the Class in the folder . the Calss ' namespace must as same as you project' s name.

You have to refer the namespace of the class1 which you refer, on the class2.

If you have more then one project in a solution like
1: ASP.Net Core Project
2: Class Library Project
And your class resides in [Class Libraray] project then you need to add reference of [Class Library Project] in ASP.Net Core project , When reference get added then you will able to use classes of Class Libraray project in your ASP.Net Core project. using
statement will be used to add the relevant name space and Visual studio will help you by suggestion.
