I published Asp.Net Core Web Api/MVC application in IIS but it is not working. Do I need to install Asp.Net core in IIS? Please help me how can I make it up and running in IIS?

Thanks for your information.
I created a Website in IIS > Create Virtual Folder. Then publish the code into virtual folder.
I will follow the above mentioned link and I hope it will fix my issue.

IIS does not run asp.net core directly like old asp.net. it uses an IIS handler (which must be installed) to reverse proxy to the asp.net core app (though the previews handler can actually host it).
but yes, you must install hosting module. you than have the choice of install the .net core runtime, or publish self contained applications.
