I am running Visual Studio 2017 Professional Version 15.0.0+26228.23 and I want to upgrade it to VS 2017 Professional 15.5.3.
When I click on notifications it is taking me to Vesion 15.6 which I don't want.
I want to exactly upgrade to Version 15.5.3.
How can I upgrade Visual Studio to a specific version?

In general, When you try to upgrade the Visual Studio 2017 then it will install the latest version of Visual studio instead of specific version.
Visual Studio 2015 provides this functionality and below is the documentation for that.
How to: Install a Specific Release of Visual Studio
Unfortunately, Visual Studio 2017 does not provide this functionality and there is no any documentation available for the same.
Other Visual Studio users are already facing this issue and they provide their feedback in link below.

I suggest you to submit your feedback in above link and vote for it.
Overall, At present it is not possible to upgrade to specific version in Visual Studio 2017.
