I need to use a spell checker on a web form for visual studio .net 2015 framework 4.6. I tried using aspnetSpell but that didn't seem to work. Does anyone have any knowledge of a good product to use or any advice on spell checkers?
Thanks in advance.

The thing about ASP Net Spell to remember is it only works in local dev unless you buy it. Can you develop your own spell checker, sure but you may wind up spending more development dollars trying to do it yourself. What I found hardest was laying my hands
on a open source dictionary. I found the spell checker from there to work well overall. Obviously, if there is a word that ASP Net Spell is not familiar with, simply add it to the dictionary and it will remember next time.

Thanks for the reply. In the past we have used Keyoti but not sure it will work for what we need it to now.

Yeah, I too have met with frustration trying to find a good spell checker that did not cost thousands, that one did a pretty good job. You might be able to leverage the browser's in-built spell checking system using a code-based solution. Let me see what
I can dig up and I'll toss it into this thread.

As an alternative to building it, this one goes for about $249.
