I've tried a number of post, but I can't get the breakpoint to hit on my NEW javacsript code on my web forms application.
I've cleaned my solution, deleted pdb files, deleted root/ folders etc. in: C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Temp\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root.

There are multiple ways.
If you want to debug in Visual Studio, You can put debugger; statement. Make sure browser (IE) setting doesn't disable the script debugging. You can attach iexplorer.exe process. If you are comfortable with browser tools, you can insert break point at the

You can also run solution through VS too using the same setup above.

debug. Then use F10 to run the code line by line.
Open F12 developer tools. After click on button, it starts debugging.

I actually had a closing curly brace off :-(
