I am not much familier with IIS and web servers.
I have to do a server setup on Windows 2012 R2. Following information is given to me for setup -
Earlier the server was installed/ setup on another machine which were running perfectly fine and now I have to do the same setup on other machine. So there is no code modifications done in prev and this server.
I have completed all the installations and configurations given to me and now I am trying to access APIs from restClient (POSTMAN). There are two APIs -
Now, the Token URL is works fine, I received "Token" as a response but I am getting "401-Unauthorized" error for 2nd API Call (GET Request)
"Message": "Authorization has been denied for this request."
Both Token and GET are https requests and I have added Self signed certificate(Untrusted certificate) in IIS. I have created a sample self signed certificate (e.g. test) from
IIS by simply specifying the name for the certificate (no other information is asked/provided during this certificate creation process).
So can anyone help me with this error? Is any configuration missing? OR is it Certificate Issue? Domain Issue?
Please do reply
Thanks in Adv

It would return an HTTP status code of 401 (Unauthorized) if authentication failed. It seems that you want to protect your APIs using IdentityServer, you can refer to
this article and check if you are missing any necessary configuration.
