As SQL Server and Visual Studio are 2 different products.
no any list is available that shows you which SQL Server version supported with which Visual Studio.
but if you are using latest operating system then you can able to connect SQL Server 2005, 2008 , 2012, 2014 , 2016 , 2017 with most of the version of Visual Studio like VS 2008, VS 2010, VS 2012, VS 2013, VS 2015, VS 2017.
but if you are using older operating system then you can find some issues which not support some versions of SQL SERVER.

hiiii everyone
i wanted to ask how to know what sql server version is compatible wit each visual studio version
cause i always change my visual studio version according to the place i work in so how to make sure everything will work fine when i change versions
