I'm now stuck on a problem with MDS (Master Data Service) and I don't know what to do, maybe you can give me a little tip.
In MDS is it possible to show a JOIN between two Entity (table)?
With subscription view with a entity in domain based with another entity it show only name and code of both entity. While with MDS API I didn't find nothing, only method that extract data from only one entity.
Do you have any advice?
Thank you very much

I suggest you try Many-to-Many relatinships in Deriverd Hierarchies.

Hello Edward Z. thank you for the answer.
First to start doing something i want to know if with Derived Hierarchies is it possible show all attributes of the entity.
We can do an example:
Code1 | Name1 | Attribute1 | Attribute2
Code2 | Name2 | Attribute3 | Attribute 4
I want to show a JOIN between Entity1 and Entity2 with a relation of Code1=Code2 for example like that
CODE | ATTRIBUTE1 | ATTRIBUTE2 | ATTRIBUTE3 | ATTRIBUTE4
Is that possible?
Thank you for you time,

In my option, it could output all attributes, did you get different result?

Hi Edward thank you for the answer.
With a subscription view of a hierarchy i can see only these values:
/****** Script for SelectTopNRows command from SSMS ******/
SELECT TOP (1000) [VersionName]
As you can see it shows only ID, CODE and NAME of every entity of the hierachy. Do you have any advice? Every entity have lot of attributes and noone is showed there.
Thank you for your time,

To be honesty, I am not familiar with MDS, and I am not able to make a test to achieve your requirement.
For MDS issue, I would suggest you go to below forum for help.
# SQL Server Master Data Services
Sorry for so less help.
