Hello, I need to implement drag-drop of rows functionality between two GridViews, gvSource and gvDestination.
The GridViews exist in two different IFrames. Both GV are bound with same source of data which means the columns match.
The following example using JQuery UI works fine when I have both GVs are on a single .aspx page. When I add them on two different pages and link them in a page through two IFrames it fails. I cannot move rows out of the IFrame.
Here is the snippet from MainPage.aspx:
<iframe id="frameSource" src="GridPage.aspx"></iframe>
<iframe id="frameDest" src="GridPage.aspx"></iframe>
And the GridPage.aspx:
<asp:GridView ID="gvData" runat="server" CssClass="GridSrc" AutoGenerateColumns="false">
<asp:BoundField DataField="Item" HeaderText="Item" />
<asp:BoundField DataField="Price" HeaderText="Price" />
The CSS, JS and code behind is all same from the link pasted above.
Is there any alternative approach I could consider.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

After reading your description, I found a tutorial about how to drag elements between iframe in H5,
